Farmland around Stody includes:

Information on each of the 2 permissive access routes can be obtained by following the links opposite.

One is in the Stody area connecting the villages of Briston, Melton Constable, Briningham, Thornage, Stody, Hunworth, Holt and Edgefield.

The other is a route that connects Hindringham and Binham. 

Access end date: 31st January 2018

For yours, and others comfort and safety, and to preserve wildlife, please remember:

 
  • Use is only one hour after sunrise until one hour before sunset
  • Dogs must be kept on a short lead so as to safeguard farm livestock and wildlife
  • Two areas of shaded blue on the map have been provided for off-lead dog walking
  • No vehicles, camping, fires or litter please
  • Please stick to the waymarked route
  • Take care crossing roads and do not tamper with farm machinery, livestock or crops
  • Horse riders are asked to keep to the field side of the path for the benefit of walkers

Your comments, or notification of safety hazards, would be welcome at the Estate Office marked ‘Office’ on the route maps or by email or post. The access provided is permissive only and will not become a permanent right of way, and may end on January 2018.

Car parking has been provided adjoining both areas of open access shaded on the map. Visitors are also welcome to park in the car park at The Hunnybell Inn, Hunworth.
